Backwoods Camp is a birdwatching camp on the edge of the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, near Molem in Goa (India). The camp is run on ecological principles and visitors are accommodated in tents and cabins. The camp was set up in 1999 by Pramod Madkaikar, Loven Pereira and Leio de Souza and is aimed at birders who wish to experience the birds of the Western Ghats. In particular, a visit to Backwoods is well-known as one of the most reliable ways for birders to see Sri Lanka Frogmouth.
