Bafatá Region

Bafatá is a region in north-central Guinea-Bissau, with a population of 225.516 (2009)^[1]. Its capital is Bafatá.^{[citation needed]}

Bafatá is divided into 6 sectors:

• Contuboel
• Galomaro
• Gamamundo
• Xitole
