Baker High School is a public high school in Baker City, Oregon, United States. It is part of the Baker School District 5J.

- 1989 - The school caught on fire and was mostly destroyed. No one was hurt as all students, teachers, and staff were safely evacuated when the fire was first starting.[2]
- 1991 - New school was completed.[2]
[edit] Academics
In 2008, 86% of the school's seniors received their high school diploma. Of 175 students, 150 graduated, 11 dropped out, 4 received a modified diploma, and 10 are still in high school.[3][4]
As of 2010, 72% of the school's seniors graduated on time. Two received a special education diploma, 11 are still in school, and 40 dropped out. Overall, Baker School District graduates 57% of all seniors. 68.1% of the school's students were on free or reduced lunch. 55.2% of teachers had a master's degree, with an average of 16.8 years of teaching experience.[5]

- Bel Canto Choir received first place in the State Choir Championship 3A and 4A levels for three years in a row: 2006, 2007, and 2008.[citation needed]
- The BHS Film Arts Club (FAC) hosted their first film festival in May 2010.

- The boys basketball team won the 4A State Championship in 2007.[citation needed]
- The varsity football team won state championships in 2010,[6] 2012 [7]
