Bandar bin Abdul-Aziz (born 1923) is the oldest living son of the late King Abdul Aziz ibn Saud. Reluctance to partake in government may reflect why Prince Bandar stepped from the royalty succession. Nonetheless, in accordance with both family and tribal tradition, Bandar is believed to exercise a great degree of influence in the Kingdom.[1]
