Barat Academy High School is an independent, faith-based high school, in Chesterfield, MO. It is in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Louis, but is the first co-educational completely independent Catholic High School in the state of Missouri.[citation needed] Barat Academy's mascot is an eagle and their colors are red and white.
Barat Academy initiated a historic 42 Million Dollar Capital Campaign in 2005. "Barat Academy Founders" are individuals who have contributed $1 million dollars or more. There are several giving communities as well as naming opportunities as Barat continues to move forward with building its campus. Currently, The Founders Building and Lower Level Gymnasium are completed.
