Premier League Golden Glove
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Barclays Golden Glove is an annual association football award that is won by the goalkeeper who has kept the most clean sheets in that season's Barclays Premier League. It was formerly called the Barclaycard Golden Glove.
Chelsea's Petr Čech won the first edition of the award with a record 21 clean sheets in the Premier League.[1] Pepe Reina of Liverpool has won the award more times than any other goalkeeper, winning the award three times consecutively from 2006 to 2008. Edwin van der Sar of Manchester United won the award for the 2008–09 season, equaling Čech's record of 21 clean sheets.
