Bayview Elementary School known as "School by the Bay" is an elementary school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. It is operated by Broward County Public Schools, a school district based in Fort Lauderdale.In the 2007-2008 school year the students participated in the school's 50th anniversary.

For the 1985-86 school year, Bayview Elementary School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon Award from the United States Department of Education, the highest honor that an American school can achieve.[1][2]
