Beaver Valley, Delaware
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Beaver Valley is an unincorporated community in New Castle County, Delaware, United States.[1] It is about 7 miles north of Wilmington, almost exactly on the Pennsylvania-Delaware border, where Beaver Valley Road meets Beaver Dam Road. Both roads cross a small tributary of Brandywine Creek nearby. A small cave, known as the "Beaver Valley Cave," "Beaver Valley Rock Shelter" or "Delaware's Only Cave" is nearby.[2] Though it is less than 100 feet long, the cave is of geological, historical, and archeological interest. It is also on private property, clearly posted "No Trespassing."
