Beer Money is a sports game show, when Don Jamieson and Mayleen Ramey go to quiz New Yorkers on their beloved New York sports teams, at local bars. In some episodes, they can be seen at Citi Field or outside of Madison Square Garden or New Meadowlands Stadium. The first question is worth $10. The contestant may keep the $10 and walk away or go for the second question, which is worth $20. If they get any question wrong, then they will lose all their money. The third question is worth $100. That totals up to $130.

Hosts[edit]

Notable Contestants[edit]

  • Eddie Trunk (2013) - Co-host of That Metal Show
  • Rich "Stick" Allen (2012 and 2013) - contestant from South Brunswick NJ who made two appearances on the show, with Don Jamieson attempting to make a love connection between "Stick" and Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz. Stick lost on question 3 both times.

Parts of the show[edit]

  • Beer Run: Don or Mayleen give the contestant a question. There are multiple answers to that question. They have to give Don or Mayleen as many answers as they can in 30 seconds. Each correct answer is worth $10.
  • Magic Number: Don or Mayleen give the contestant a number. He or she asks the contestant multiple questions, and asks them if the answer is above or below the magic number. Each correct answer is worth $10.
  • Beers Batted In: Don or Mayleen get four contestants. They give the first one a question. If they get it right they go to first base. If the second one gets his question right, he goes to first base. Then the third one goes to first base, and the bases are loaded. Then the fourth contestant comes up to bat. If they get their question right, they hit a grand slam and win $160.
