BGC (Begum Gulchemonara) Trust University Bangladesh (Bengali: বেগম গুলচেমনারা ট্রাস্ট বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) also known as BGC Trust University Bangladesh is a private university. It was established in 2002. The university is 34 km from Chittagong Port City at a place popularly known as BGC Viddyanagar by the side of the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar Road. The main campus in Chandanaish, spread over 100 acres (0.40 km2) of land, consists of a private university, a private medical college, a 1,000-bed hospital, a nurses' institute, a dental college, a college of physiotherapy and an IT institute.
In 2010, Bangladesh Ministry of Education listed BGC Trust University among eight successful private universities in Bangladesh.[citation needed]

BGC Trust was founded by a philanthropist and educationist Engr. Afsar Uddin Ahmad.
BGC Trust University is attested with the highest level of accreditation. It is approved by the government, Ministry of Education and University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh.[citation needed]

Admission requirements are a minimum GPA must be 3.00 (both in SSC and HSC) or equivalent background. Minimum O-Level in fivesubjects and A-Level in two subjects.
Financial scholarships are available for deserving candidates. Apart from that, BGC Trust University waivers 10% tuition fee base on previous GPA score, and it reduce by 30% tuition fee waiver for female, tribal and freedom fighter wards.
Scholarships include the Chairman’s Scholarship and Vice Chancellor Scholarship. Tuition fee payment system is tremendously flexible for each student. Tuition fee may be paid earlier on semester basis or monthly installation.
