Rabbi Ben-Zion Aryeh Leibish Halberstam (בן-ציון אריה לייבוש הלברשטאם), is the Fifth Bobover Rebbe of the Bobov Hasidic movement. Born in 1955 to Grand Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov, the third Bobover Rebbe ( כ"ק אדמו"ר מבאבוב, שליט"א ). After his father died, his brother, Naftali Halberstam was crowned "The Bobover Rebbe". Following Rabbi Naftali Halberstam's death, a Beth Din was sought to determine who has the right to be the next rebbe. After a nine year long standoff, Rabbi Ben Zion was officially given the exclusive right to be "Bobver Rebbe" by Bais Din.[1]
