"Benedictus" is a song from Simon and Garfunkel's debut album, Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M. It was arranged and adapted from two-part a capella motet[1] by Orlande de Lassus.[2] The sheet music for the original motet is available here. The text, in Latin, is benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini (KJV: Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord). The song is set for two voices with cello and sparse guitar accompaniment.

"Benedictus" was featured in the Wii game Endless Ocean, unlocked when the player entered the Great Abyss area.
