Beni Ansar or Aït Nsar is a town in Nador Province, Oriental, Morocco, located 12 km north of the City of Nador. It is bordered on the north by the autonomous Spanish city of Melilla. According to the 2004 census it has a population of 31,800,[1] and its area is 20 hectares (0.2 km²).
Its climate is arid, and precipitation is variable, with an annual mean of 280 mL.
The port of Bin Anşār is one of the main ports of Morocco. The development of the urban area is constrained on the west by Mount Gurugú and a highway and on the east by the Lagoon of Nador, the railway, and the industrial zone around the port.
