Bereşti-Meria is a commune in Galați County, Romania with a population of 3,500 people. It is composed of ten villages: Aldeşti, Balinteşti, Bereşti-Meria, Onciu, Pleşa, Prodăneşti, Puricani, Săseni, Slivna and Şipote.
