Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) is a set of farm raised seafood standards developed by Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA).[1] BAP standards address environmental and social responsibility, animal welfare, food safety and traceability for farms and hatcheries of shrimp, tilapia and catfish as well as seafood processing plants.

The BAP are licensed by the Aquaculture Certification Council (ACC)[2] which carries out all the inspections and certification.
