Beware of Dog is the debut album by American rapper Lil' Bow Wow released 2000, on So So Def and Columbia Records. When So So Def mastermind Jermaine Dupri along with his songwriter/ producer counterpart Bryan-Michael Cox with the 13-year old rapper for the album. This is an album that served several pop-rap gems that are PG rated. The lead single is Bounce with Me. The song was made exclusively for the Martin Lawrence film Big Momma's House and it was also included on the film's soundtrack. Bow Wow (That's My Name) is also another clear hit highlight. Also other singles are "Puppy Love" and Ghetto Girls. The album debuted at number eight on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart with 101,000 copies sold in the first week released.[3] The album was certified two-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on March 5, 2001. The album also reached platinum status in Canada, selling over 100,000 copies.[4]
