Bhopal Junction (Hindi :भोपाल जंक्शन, Urdu : بهبال جونستو, indhiS : )‎ (Station Code: BPL) is a Major Railway Junction of India and main railway station of Bhopal City, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

The main station of Bhopal is known as Bhopal Junction. It was constructed in year 1941 before India got independence. The second station of the city (Bhopal Habibganj) was constructed in year 1975 and its inauguration was done by Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India. Later on, The city of Bhopal got 4 new other local railway stations named as:

Bhopal Junction Railway Station is located on the Main Delhi - Chennai and Jhansi - Itarsi Railway Track which halts more than 140 daily trains, with a total of more than 280 trains within a week. Therefore the Trains for almost all the major as well as minor destinations in India are very easily available. To the north of the Bhopal Junction lies Bina Junction, to the south lies Itarsi Junction. There is one track which connect Bhopal to the west with Ujjain Junction, Ratlam Junction and Ahmedabad Junction. Also to some portion of Indore Junction and Dewas Junction.

The location of Bhopal Junction is such that the trains for almost every Indian state (excluding Himachal, Assam and North East) are very easily available. The station halts five pairs of Rajdhani Express, two pairs of Garibrath Express, Shatabdi Express, Duronto Express and about 140 pairs of express, while 10 pairs of passenger trains. The Bhopal Junction railway station being the major station of the city is also the originating point of the fastest train of India, Bhopal Shatabdi.
