Bhupalpally is a town,Nagara panchayat and a mandal in Warangal district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]

Geography[edit]

Bhupalpally is located North West of Warangal Dist and is the Black Gold city of Warangal. It is surrounded by forest ranges to the north. There are huge deposits of Coal underneath. This place has become a future prospect for Coal industry and also a Mega electric generation plant called Kakatiya Thermal Power Station which is producing 500 MW of power and another 500 MW unit is under construction.Now it is Municipality. Nearest river flowing is Godavari, Pranahita and Maneru.

KTK 1 Incline[edit]

This mine was inaugurated by Late N.T Rama Rao in 1988 and started production in 1991.

Specialty of KTK 8 Incline[edit]

This mine has vast deposits of "B" grade coal and is given on contract to Hinduja Group Of Industries using modern machines.Its Director visits at least once in a week.

Singareni Colleries has its own "Rescue Teams" for internal and external purposes. These teams actively engage in Ganesh Nimajjanam in Kaleshwaram.They also went to Kurnool, to rescue people from flood affected areas in 2010.

About 85% are Hindus,10% are Muslims and remaining are Christians. It has Two Masjids one is Barelvi and other is Tableegh.

It is 65 km from District City.Nearest Railway Station is Uppal. Superluxuary Bus Facility is also available to and from Hyd.APSRTC is earning huge profits because of rapid Urbanisation.during day time buses are available every 10 minutes to district headquarters warangal and every one hour to state capital hyderabad.

From here nearest Tourist place is Ramappa which is 25 km and Laknavaram Cheruvu of 40 km and Kaleshwaram is 40 km. In kaleshwaram, there is a Mosque built by Aurangazeb ( R.A) about 400 years ago which is back to the Temple.

HOSPITALS : many good hospitals are present many of them are run by BHMS and BAMS doctors.. recently MBBS qualified doctors like Dr.RaviRaja(OLD SAMBHAIIAH hospital), Dr.Kiran opened their hospitals... which r teating suseccesfully
