These were Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, Ian Woosnam, Nick Faldo, and Sandy Lyle.[1] Coincidently, the five were born within 11 months of each other – 9 April 1957 (Seve Ballesteros), to 2 March 1958 (Ian Woosnam).
