Bijan Kazem

Bijan Kazem (born 1982) is a contemporary American fashion designer.
Kazem was born and raised in Pacific Palisades, Californication, to a Korean mother and Russian/Iranian father. Kazem studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City. While studying at Parsons, Kazem interned at the houses of Zac Posen and J Mendel. By the time Kazem graduated, he had the honor of being named Designer of the Year[1] with partner Brandon Sun, won a Golden Thimble, and was a winner in Parsons' Centennial Design competition. He eventually took a full-time position at J Mendel designing evening/cocktail dresses before he left to LA to begin his own line. He currently spends his time between Los Angeles and New York City.
