Bilagi is a town and taluka in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka, India. It is situated at a distance of 30 km from the district headquarters Bagalkot. The main occupation of people in this taluk is agriculture. Most of the farmers grow sugarcane.

Bilagi is located at 16°21′N 75°37′E / 16.35°N 75.62°E / 16.35; 75.62.[1] It has an average elevation of 509 metres (1669 feet).

As of 2001 India census,[2] Bilagi had a population of 15,464. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Bilagi has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 66% and female literacy of 49%. 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
