Bill Starkov is an independent television producer and financier in Los Angeles. Having founded Creative Talent Associated (CTA) in 1989, Bill Starkov spent over a decade booking and marketing talent, and provided casting services for hundreds of music videos, films, commercials, infomercials, print work, shows and private entertainment events. He worked with some of the top vocal performers to create feature film soundtracks.
Bill Starkov has worked with some of the top international brands including Toyota, Reebok, McDonald's, and Verizon. His music video clients have included such names as Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart, Jay-Z and Janet Jackson. He has provided talent for such films and television series as Seabiscuit, Forrest Gump, and Monk.
In 2001, Bill Starkov sold his shares in CTA to concentrate on privately financing productions, something he has been involved with since 1997 through the creation and trading of production hedge funds. Along with his company, Ashland Capital, LLC he has built alliances in the former Soviet states such as Russia, Romania and Bulgaria for funding and distribution deals in the former Eastern Bloc countries.
Bill Starkov has financed numerous music videos, commercials and feature projects. He currently has several reality shows in development at various networks. He was a producer on the television series YANA K, Black Poker Stars Invitational [1] as well as the film Love in the Nick of Tyme.
He is also a producer on the reality series Human Trafficking along with 8th Wonder Entertainment. We see this series as a cross between Dog the Bounty Hunter and The First 48. This series has the potential to become a franchise with many years of success. The talent that we have for the show are experts in the field of Human Trafficking and have worked on over 6000 cases. The investigators have identified a Human Trafficking ring in Albuquerque, New Mexico that they are ready to go into and bust. This show has already been pre-approved for sale by Endeavor Talent Agency at the following networks: Spike, A&E, TLC, History, Nat Geo.
