Blankenhain is a town in the Weimarer Land district, in Thuringia, Germany. It is 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) south of Weimar.

History[edit]

Within the German Empire (1871-1918), Blankenhain was part of the Grand Duchy of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach.
