Blondelle were an Indie Rock band between 2006-2007 and formed and based in North London.
Blondelle member Sam Stewart is the son of producer, musician Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and Siobhan Fahey (Shakespears Sister/Bananarama). Rory O Donnell is Sam's cousin and the nephew of Siobhan Fahey.
They released their debut album in Japan on Columbia Music Entertainment in December 2006, where it charted in the top 10. The band released their second LP in Europe in May 2007 through Rude Records.
According to the band's MySpace page, as of late 2007 the band has broken up indefinitely.
