Blue Plum Festival

The Blue Plum Festival is an annual arts and music festival held in downtown Johnson City, Tennessee on the first Friday and Saturday of June. The music usually features bluegrass, folk, and Appalachian music.
Additionally, Main Street in Downtown Johnson City will be lined with booths featuring Arts and Crafts Vendors. Other festival highlights include a children's area, an animation festival, a 5k run and, beginning in 2008, a Jazz Stage.[1]
The headlining performers for the 2008 Blue Plum Festival were Doc Watson on Friday, June 6 and The Subdudes on Saturday, June 7. [2]
The Blue Plum Festival is organized by the non-profit organization Friends of Olde Downtowne[3]
