The blue willow beetle (Phratora vulgatissima) is a bronze–black beetle of the family Chrysomelidae. It is found on aspen and various willow species in fens, carrs and on river banks. It is susceptible toBacillus thuringiensis tenebrionis and also Spinosad when treatment is applied to affected plants. Proliferation of larvae and egg production varies with vegetation .[1]
