Bob Boudreaux is a Vietnam veteran and former weekend news anchor for KTRK-TV in Houston, Texas.[1]
Beaudreault arrived in the United States Army through the Reserve Officers' Training Corps program, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. During his four years on active duty, Beaudreault flew with the 155th Assault Helicopter Company of the 1st Aviation Brigade in the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of Captain whilst serving as a flight instructor at the U.S. Army Primary Helicopter School.[1]

Beaudreault earned several military decorations as an aircraft commander and aviation section leader, including the Distinguished Flying Cross and oak leaf cluster, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.[1]
