Eric Wesley Berger (born April 22, 1986 in Roseville, California), is an American professional baseball player. A pitcher, Berger plays in the Houston Astros organization of Major League Baseball. He has yet to make his MLB debut.
Berger, who is Jewish, attended Woodcreek High School (Roseville, California) and University of Arizona before being drafted by the Cleveland Indians.[1] Berger has played in minor league baseball with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, Lake County Captains, and Kinston Indians in 2008, and 2009 through July 27, 2010 with the Akron Aeros. Berger was traded to the Astros on April 15, 2013.

Bobby Borchering (born October 25, 1990) is a third baseman for the Houston Astros organization. He is a switch hitter and throws right-handed.
In high school Bobby had a .494 batting average with 38 hits, 37 RBIs, 9 doubles and 13 home runs at 77 at bats in his senior year.[2]
In the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft, Borchering was selected 16th overall by the Arizona Diamondbacks, making him the fifth position player chosen in the draft.[3]
Borchering was traded to the Houston Astros along with Marc Krauss for Chris Johnson on July 29, 2012.[4][5]

Jorge Luis De Leon (born August 15, 1987 in Azua, Dominican Republic) is a minor league baseball relief pitcher.
Signed by Julio Linares and Sergio Beltre, De Leon began his professional career as a shortstop in 2006, playing for the DSL Astros, hitting .230 in 56 games. Again with the DSL Astros in 2007, De Leon hit .190 in 52 games. He moved stateside in 2008, playing for the Greenville Astros and hitting .235 in 32 games. In 2009, he played for the Tri-City ValleyCats and the Lexington Legends, hitting a combined .206 in 66 games. He converted to pitching for the 2010 season, making 23 appearances for the ValleyCats and going 2-1 with a 0.64 ERA.

Justin James Gominsky (born August 26, 1989) is an American professional baseball outfielder with the Lexington Legends organization in minor league baseball. Prior to being drafted by the Houston Astros in the 11th round of the MLB June Amateur Draft,[6] Gominsky played college baseball at the University of Minnesota.
Justin Gominsky was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Danny and Gladis Gominsky, living in New Brighton, Minnesota until he was 10 years old, and then moved to Mahtomedi, Minnesota until he was 18 years old.[citation needed] Gominsky attended Mahtomedi Senior High School, where he was a two-sport prodigy[citation needed] in football and baseball. He was a 3 time all conference football player, and an all state wide receiver his senior year. Gominsky, standing at 6-4, led the Mahtomedi Zephyrs to the 2007 Minnesota State High School League Football Championship.[7] Baseball was Gominsky's passion, however; when he graduated high school in 2008 he had been a 3 time all conference player, as well as made the all state team twice as a Junior and Senior.[citation needed]
Gominsky was signed to the Minnesota Gophers in the spring of 2008, and proceeded to go the University of Minnesota in the fall of 2008. As a freshman in 2009, Gominsky was named to the Big Ten All-Freshmen Team, the Collegiate Baseball Magazine Freshman All-American team, and to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament team.[8] He batted .338 that season with 35 runs scored, 25 RBI, 11 doubles and was 11-for-11 on the base paths. In the 2010 season Gominsky missed the majority of it due to a knee injury. He returned to the 2011 season and started all 49 games, with a batting average of .307, 30 runs scored, and 18 RBI. He helped the Gophers to finish 25-24 overall, and 13-11 in the Big Ten.[9] All throughout college Gominsky also excelled in academics, maintaining a 3.2 gpa, and was named a student athlete of the week his freshman year.[citation needed]
Gominsky was signed to the Houston Astros on June 11th, 2011. He was the ninth pick in the 11th round of the 2011 Draft. His first season in 2011 he played for the Tri-City ValleyCats in Troy, New York. They are a short-season A minor league team. He had a batting average of .237, 18 RBI, and 35 runs scored.In 2011 he was awarded as a New York Penn League, (NYPL) Mid-Season All-Star. In 2012 Gominsky played for the Lexington Legends in Lexington, Kentucky, they are a low A minor league team. His batting average for 2012 was .241, 36 RBI, and 37 runs scored.[10] In August of 2012 Gominsky was awarded Defensive Player of the Month.[11]

Andrew (Drew) Locke (born February 28, 1983) is a Minor League Baseball outfielder for the Houston Astros organization. From Boston College, he was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 19th Round (586th overall) of the 2005 amateur entry draft. He played for the Class AAA Oklahoma City Redhawks, a Houston Astros affiliate during the 2011 season. During the 2012 season, Locke is playing for the Class AA Corpus Christi Hooks, also a Houston Astros affiliate.

Ross Allen Seaton (born September 18, 1989) is a minor league baseball pitcher in the Houston Astros organization.
Seaton attended Second Baptist School, where he was the class valedictorian. Rated the top high school pitcher in Texas by Baseball America, the Astros drafted Seaton in the third round (109th overall) of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft, receiving a $700,000 signing bonus to forego his college scholarship to Tulane University.[12]

Max Robert Stassi (born March 15, 1991) is a professional baseball catcher for the Houston Astros organization.
Stassi was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the fourth round of the 2009 MLB Draft. He received a $1.5 million bonus, a record for a fourth round pick.[13] The Athletics invited him to spring training in 2012.
After the 2012 season, the Athletics traded Stassi to the Houston Astros with Brad Peacock and Chris Carter for Jed Lowrie and Fernando Rodriguez.[14]

Jason Anthony Stoffel (born September 18, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball. He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the fourth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft.
On July 19, 2011, he was traded to the Houston Astros with Henry Sosa for Jeff Keppinger.[15]

Jonathan Villar (born May 2, 1991) is a professional baseball shortstop in the Houston Astros minor league baseball organization.
Villar signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent. Before the 2011 season, Villar, J. A. Happ and Anthony Gose were traded to the Astros for Roy Oswalt.[16] He was named the 94th best prospect in baseball by Baseball America prior to the 2011 season. He was invited to Astros' spring training in 2012.

Randall Asher Wojciechowski (born December 21, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Houston Astros organization.
Wojciechowski attended The Citadel. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the first round (41st overall) of the 2010 MLB Draft.
He was traded to the Houston Astros on July 20, 2012, along with Ben Francisco, Francisco Cordero, David Rollins, Joe Musgrove, and Carlos Pérez, for J. A. Happ, Brandon Lyon, and David Carpenter.[17] Houston assigned Wojciechowski to their Class AA affiliate Corpus Christi Hooks.
His repertoire includes a fastball around 94 mph, a slider in the low 80s, and an occasional changeup and curveball.[18][19]
