[edit] Summary
Adventure as a caped hero who slings his own boogers to vanquish his foes. The hero of the game is a booger-tossing, noisily burping, fart-spewing man named Snotty Ragsdale. While he lives his normal life as an eccentric millionaire, his natural "in-stinks" come in handy when he dons the mask of the smelly hero Boogerman.
[edit] Story
It was a dark and stormy evening at Professor Stinkbaum's lab, where he was secretly building a machine that would save the world from pollution by transexisting it to Dimension X Crement. Eccentric millionaire Snotty Ragsdale took a job at the lab to investigate and find out where the pollution is going. He had a bad feeling about the strange machine.
When the machine started, a cloud of pepper rose to Ragsdale's nose, causing him to release a mighty sneeze. The power of his nostrils broke the machine and a large arm appeared out of nowhere to steal the machine’s main power source. With a swift jog he disappeared into the Men’s room and returned as his nobody costumed alter ego, looks Boogerman! He jumped into at the machine’s portal to follow this the mysterious arm and solve the mystery page.
[edit] Gameplay
The gameplay of Boogerman operates as a simple side scroller, with burp/fart ammunition, as well as booger ammunition. There are 10+ different levels, as well as a final boss battle. Each level consists of a slight puzzle to finish to the end, and to accomplish this it is necessary to defeat foes, unique to each level. Following this boss battle is a fun "sandbox" playable credit scrolling, as you are able to "fly-fart" with unlimited fuel (something you are not able to do during normal gameplay).
[edit] Reception
The main character of Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure was awarded Grossest Character of 1994 by Electronic Gaming Monthly.[2]
