[edit] Fictional character biography
Bora is a young mutant who possesses the ability to summon arctic winds through psionic spatial rifts. Her mutation also made her grow to over seven feet tall, which ruined her dreams of a career as a ballerina.
After the caped crusader known as Moon Knight was crippled in battle with the villainous Fly, he sought the help of the X-Men and the Fantastic Four in stopping Bora's murderous rampage.[volume & issue needed]
Later, Bora joined Painter and Spark in the Avant Guard and clashed with Spider-Man. Painter enhanced her powers when they were creating their masterpiece, an ice age presentation, in New York, but in the end turned Bora and her beloved Spark into a painting.[volume & issue needed]
Bora lost her mutant powers after the M-Day.[1]
[edit] Powers and abilities
Bora is able to summon freezing winds. She does this by opening a portal from the arctic to wherever she wishes them to go. These are powerful enough to incapacitate an ordinary human, or even blow them off the ground. After enhancement by the Painter Bora was able to blanket Manhattan with snow.
