The Bounty Hunter appeared in Ghost Rider #30–32 (June–October 1978), and he was created by Don Perlin and Roger McKenzie.
[edit] Fictional character biography
Haskill was a 19th century bounty hunter who died owing a debt to the Devil (commonly believed to be Mephisto). As the Bounty Hunter, he was condemned to bring in 50 souls of the Devil's choosing, or forfeit his own soul to torment. When he was told to bring in Johnny Blaze, the Bounty Hunter failed.[volume & issue needed]
