Bowali (Bengali: বোয়ালি) is a census town under Nadakhali police station of Alipore Sadar subdivision in South 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India.[1]

As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Bowali had a population of 10,200. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bowali has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 83% and female literacy of 69%. 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
