Bracknell is a small rural town in northern Tasmania, Australia. The town was established to serve the needs of the forestry industry but is now a centre for the local farming community. At the 2006 census, Bracknell had a population of 371.[1] Its economy is based on mostly dairy, livestock, and poppy production for the pharmaceutical industry. All the streets in Bracknell are female names.
Nearby towns are Bishopsbourne, Liffey and Cressy.
Bracknell has a post office, a take-away and a community hall.
