Brash Brands

Brash Brands, founded in 2006, is an independent branding and design agency.[1] They are based in Dubai Media City in the United Arab Emirates and have opened a second office in Abu Dhabi to help service the increasing number of their clients in the UAE's capital.[2] This has been followed in 2010 by offices in Shanghai, Singapore and London.

As the creative agency behind the Dnata[2], Msheireb Properties[3], Etihad Rail, [4][5] and Burj Khalifa brand, [6], Emaar's, their work is highly visible throughout Dubai and the Middle East.[3]

The Founder and principal Creative Director, John Brash, has a career spanning almost 20 years. He was one of the Global Airline Team founders whilst at Landor London and became a European board member when Creative Director MENA.[4] Since 2006, John Brash has been a member of the influential Superbrands Council.[5]

In 2011 Brash Brands have been responsible for the repositioning and subsequent launch of a number of major brands. These include:

  • 28 April 2011, the launch of Dnata in Dubai. This project was released after Brash Brands appointment to the project the previous August.[8][9]
  • 16 May 2011, the launch of Ankabut in Abu Dhabi. This project required Brash to work alongside the team from Khalifa University and the TRA.[10]
