The Brazilian Republican Party (Portuguese: Partido Republicano Brasileiro) is a Brazilian political party. Its electoral number is 10 and it became a registered political party on August 25, 2005. The Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus (God's Kingdom Universal Church) uses the party to elect its bishops in Brazilian elections. Its most important member is Rio de Janeiro senator Marcelo Crivella, nephew of Universal's leader Edir Macedo, Journalist Celso Russomanno[1] and formerly Vice-President José Alencar.
