Brentwood Science Magnet School is a public, award-winning, 800+ Honor School with free bus transportation open to all students who reside within Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).

In addition to its outstanding classroom, art and music teachers, our 4 full-time Science Teachers provide every student (in all grades K-5) with hands-on labs in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth Sciences and Computer Technology. The school provides a one of a kind science lab program for an LAUSD school.

Their scientific atmosphere creates an excitement for learning through discovery and stimulates the students to apply the critical and creative thinking required in science to other areas of study. Brentwood Science Magnet School is particularly suited as a science magnet by virtue of its geographic proximity to the ocean and academic and industrial science facilities with all their human and physical resources essential to a science curriculum.
