Location of Prešov District in the Prešov Region.

Brestov (Hungarian: Boroszló) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia. In historical records[which?] the village was first mentioned in 1229.It lies at an altitude of 321 metres and covers an area of 10.369 km². It has a population of about 455 people.[citation needed]
