Brett Manning is an American singer and vocal coach. He has a well-demonstrated five-octave range (see on YouTube),[1] which he alleges makes use of the whistle register.[2] With over 20 years of experience, Manning has trained many recognizable music artists including Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, John Michael Montgomery, Keith Urban, Brian White, Hayley Williams of Paramore, TJ Harris of Decyfer Down, Michael Barnes of Red, Mark Kibble, members of Take 6, Dia Frampton and many others. His client roster includes Grammy and CMA Award winners, artists on both independent and major record labels including Capitol Records, Columbia Records, Atlantic Records, Interscope Records, Lyric Street Records, MCA and Sony Records.

Manning's work also includes coaching the Broadway casts of “Les Miserables” and “Jekyll and Hyde,” as well as the Broadway tour of Elton John's “Aida.” He is the author of "Singing Success" the top rated "learn at home" vocal training program. Brett also has a world class vocal studio on Music Row in Nashville TN "Brett Manning Studios" where he teaches along with his esteemed associate teachers Dave Brooks, Jesse Nemitz, Sophie Shear and Chris Keller. Brett also teaches his vocal techniques through seminars and workshops around the world. Most recently, Manning was featured on CMT's television talent search, "Can You Duet" as a vocal coach and judge in 2008[3].
