Brian NeSmith

Brian NeSmith is an American technology entrepreneur and the majority owner and founder of the FC Gold Pride of Women's Professional Soccer. He founded the club in the spring of 2009 and continues to be a co-owner with his wife Nancy, who holds the title of President. He is the former president and CEO of Blue Coat Systems, which he helped take public. NeSmith currently serves as Blue Coat's chief product officer and is a member of the board of directors. He has been with Blue Coat since 1999.
NeSmith graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1984 with a Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering. He and his family live in Los Altos, California.
