There was a ship in the early 1900s (1914-1916) that was a sister of the Titanic that was named RMS/HMHS Britannic. Britannic means of Britain, or British, from Britannia, the Roman name for Britain.

  • Britannic (film), a 2000 film based on the story of the HMHS Britannic.
  • SS Britannic, a fictional ocean liner in the 1974 movie Juggernaut.
