British School Muscat (BSM) is a co-educational, non-profit, non-selective private day school in Muscat, Oman. It was established in 1973, under Royal Charter by his Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said. In 2003 his Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, on a visit to the school, described it as "one of the leading schools in the Middle East" (Times of Oman, Nov 9th, 2003).
