The Broadway Dance Festival ran at the Bijou Theatre on 45th Street in 1977 for three weeks; The Festival was produced and promoted by Ron Davis one of New York's premier tap dancers . Dance companies performing at the festival were, in alphabetical order: Jerry Ames Tap Dance Co., Bicentennial Ballet Co., Chamber Dance Group, Linda Diamond & Co., Judith Janus & Co., Kinetic Energy, June Lewis & Co., Argyr Lekas Spanish Dance Co., Joan Miller/ Chamber Arts Players, Neubert Ballet Co.Edith Stephen Dance Connection and the Ron Davis Dancers
