"Brother for Sale" is a song written for and sung by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. This song was made in the early 1990s. It was used in the video "Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: Our First Video". However, it was trimmed down to one segment to cut the length of the videotape.
Mary-Kate and Ashley have stated in interviews that their brother does not like the song, and that they would sing it around the house just to tease him.
[edit] Chorus
The chorus of the song is:
Brother for sale, only 50 cents,
Brother for sale, it's not a big expense.
You can hug him, you can bug him, you can buy or rent.
Brother for sale, only 50 cents!
The "price" of the brother changes with each repetition of the chorus in this sequence:
- "Only 50 cents"
- "25 cents"
- "10 cents"
- "Our brother's not for sale"
