MRT Buendia Station is one of two underground MRT stations along EDSA. The station lies near the Buendia Flyover and Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue. It is near Shell Bel-Air in the corner of Buendia, EDSA, and Zodiac Street.
The station is the second to the last station south of Pasig River and serves as the fourth station for trains headed to North Avenue and the tenth station for trains headed to Taft Avenue. It is the last underground station in the line before the line goes above ground at Guadalupe station.

Buendia MRT Station has jeepneys, buses, and taxicabs outside the station. Jeepneys that leave from the station head along Buendia Avenue for western Makati City, the Central Business District, and Pasay City.
