Bufo peltocephalus is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Cuba. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, arable land, pastureland, plantations , rural gardens, heavily degraded former forest, irrigated land, and seasonally flooded agricultural land. It is threatened by habitat loss.
