Franchise history[edit]

2014: Birth of the Bumblebees[edit]

In 2014, the domestic league in Coburg was planning to expand by making a Sunday league. A group of high school teenagers believed to be around the age of 18 all gathered together and agreed to make a team obviously naming them the Bumblebees. Originally the team was going to be called the Northern warriors but due to votes by fellow team mates and the fact that the warriors were already used in the NBA by Golden State it was officially named the Bumblebees.

Uniforms[edit]

The original Bees uniforms have not been worn yet and according to players is something in the making. The team chose yellow and black as its primary colours. The home jerseys and away jerseys are reportedly exactly the same writing Bees at the front across the body with the logo and across the back having the name of the player.
