Bunzl Processor Division is a subsidiary of Bunzl, a distribution and outsourcing company headquartered in London. Located in North Kansas City, Bunzl Processor Division was known for being a meat processing company, but has evolved into a primary distributor of food packaging and plant operating supplies and equipment for the food processing industry.

History[edit]

Bunzl Processor Division is formerly known as Koch Supplies, which in 1883.[1] Koch was known as a manufacturer and distributor of plant operating supplies, including footwear, work and safety clothing, and material-handling equipment. Many of the same technologies manufactured during the 20th century are still used for the products today. Koch Supplies was acquired by Bunzl in 2001.[2] This acquisition allowed the company to grow products lines outside of meat processing.
