The soundtrack for the Burnout 3: Takedown video game featured 44 songs, which played as part of "Crash FM", the fictional in-game radio station complete with commentary from DJ Stryker (who is a real DJ, from alternative radio station KROQ-FM in Los Angeles).
The soundtrack features mainly pop punk, emo, and indie rock songs; though it includes tracks from standard rock bands as well.
This soundtrack had more songs than any other EA title since the 2002 debut of the EA TRAX music initiative, the gaming company's program dedicated to elevating the in-game entertainment experience by delivering breakthrough music in all EA Sports, EA Games and EA Sports Big releases.
