Søren Carl Theodor Marius Sørensen , also known as C.Th. Sørensen (1893-1979) was a famous Danish landscape architect. He is notable for creating "adventure playgrounds," inspired by children playing with leftover materials on construction sites, and with the help of children as builders.[1] He was the professor of landscape architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and wrote many books on gardens and landscaping.[2]
