CPDcast is a UK-based service producing and distributing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) podcasts for legal professionals.[1]
Fully accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the Bar Standards Board (BSB) and the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX), CPDcast was launched in autumn 2007 to allow solicitors, barristers and other legal professionals to fulfil their annual CPD requirements by listening to professionally recorded podcasts about their chosen area of law.[2]
CPDcast has been featured in the legal trade press as a commentator on innovation in CPD and distance learning technology.[3] Coverage since launch has included the Law Society Gazette, Legal Executive Journal and the Legal Technology Journal.
CPDcast was acquired by the Informa Group in 2010.
